In line with this commitment, we strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the RHI (РЗИ) and CDC to ensure a sterile and safe environment.

Hand Hygiene
Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of any infection. For routine dental exams and nonsurgical procedures, we wash thoroughly with water and hand soap specifically created for healthcare settings.
Regular Sanitation
Common touchpoints, including seating, workspaces, door handles, railings, and restrooms are sanitized on a regular basis by our team with effective cleaning solutions certified to kill bacteria and viruses. Our entire operatory is disinfected after every appointment with Metropolitan Regional Health Inspectorate (SRZI) registered cleaning agents to kill viruses and bacteria.
Personal Protective Equipment
We possess and use all necessary protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and protective clothing. Worn by our team and changed regularly, Personal Protective Equipment is designed to protect everyone in our practice from exposure to infectious agents.
Sterilization and Disinfection of Patient-Care Items and Devices
All Instruments and equipment used during your care are always sterilized and disinfected to Metropolitan Regional Health Inspectorate (SRZI) and CDC specifications. This ensures proper infection control and the health of our patients and staff. Every item used is opened fresh from a sterilized packet or is a brand-new disposable item. The sterilization process is very rigorous and includes dry heat sterilization (autoclave) and chemical sterilization.

Before the patient's arrival at the clinic
– Specifically targeted questions asked for assessment of the possibility of the patient being infected.
– If the patient is judged to be high risk, it is scheduled as the last appointment of the day.
– The schedule of the clinic is configured accordingly so that there is an empty space of at least 30' between appointments to repeat the disinfection in
all areas and to ventilate the clinic.

During the patient's entry to the clinic
– All patients disinfect their hands with antiseptic solutions from automated non-touch dispensers. We also use antiseptic soap (foam) solutions for our hand disinfection as well as in our restrooms for patients use.
– All patients are informed beforehand that they must come unaccompanied, wearing a mask and should wear special foot covers from the automated machine situated outside of the clinic.
– Panctuality from the side of the patient is of uttermost importance in order to not have any delay between the ventilating and disinfecting protocols applied in order to keep everyone safe.
– Temperature is measured and medical/dental history are aquired filling in a questionaire with the help of an associate of our clinic.

During dental treatment
The patient removes the mask and rinses with Chlorhexidine gluconate solution, which reduces the potential viral load of SARS COV 2 in the oropharyngeal area.
– Staff wear mask and medical gowns at all times. Staff equipment is replaced from patient to patient to avoid cross infection between patients and staff.
– The staff wears special visors, special masks and disposable gloves.
– All treatments are done with sterile or single use disposable instruments.
– Disposable waterproof plastic surface coverings are used.
– Operating room aseptic protocols are followed for all dental treatments
– At the end of the treatment, the patient wears their mask and completes his stay with the relevant instructions concerning their treatment.

– The clinic is thoroughly cleaned with a steam cleaner and bleach or special disinfectants (specific for disinfection of surfaces).
– Staff change gloves, masks and medical clothing.
– All waste is considered infectious. It is stored in special bins and collected by a specialized infectious waste management office.
– Instruments, which are not disposable, are placed in a closed ultrasonic device filled with a solution of distiled water and antiseptic solution for initial removal of debris and first step of disinfection. This is followed by drying, placing and sealing in special bags and sterilization in an autoclave.
